6th Grade Science students at CVMS have been busy learning in creative ways. They explored atoms and molecules by constructing molecular models using marshmallows and spaghetti. The exercise reinforced their understanding of atomic composition and molecular structure in an engaging format.
Students also participated in a density field trip where they acted as particles, moving to different areas around the school. By comparing how many “particles” (students) fit into each space, they explored how mass, volume, and density relate to one another.
