Students at CVMS have been getting into the spirit. Last week they celebrated Red Ribbon Week with dress up days and lunch activities all week. Mrs. Humes’s class also recently concluded their annual Scary Story Competition with a thrilling final round held around a cozy campfire, complete with s’mores and hot cocoa. For the contest, students wrote original scary stories that showcased the narrative writing skills they’ve been developing in class. The event was filled with creativity, laughter, and just the right amount of fright—making it a spooky and fun celebration of student storytelling.
